What we do

Jennifer Heim Photography is a full service studio that can cater from general headshots all the way up to and including a hair and make-up stylist to make the process as painless as possible for you.  We also offer performance photography and promo photo shoots.

    What do I wear for a headshot? How should I do my hair and makeup? Should I bring my whole closet and you pick? Don't stress, we give you recommendations on what to wear and tips to help you have the best experience possible. We also come prepared with our "just in case box". Just in case you need it, we have it in the box!

    How do I get started in acting and modeling? Who do I trust? Where do I go for help? Jennifer has been involved in every aspect of theater from being the talent on the stage, to casting and directing shows. It can make your head spin in the beginning but don't worry, we'll be there to help you and make sure you put your most marketable shot in front of casting directors and agencies.

    Jennifer started her professional career as a member of the marketing team for a local beer distributorship. Since then, she has held positions at various levels of the corporate ladder such as Studio Manager, Black Tie Event Planner, Sales Supervisor, Sales Analyst, and Marketing Director. We are very much in tune with the needs, expectations and importance of a corporate headshot that helps to create a more personal relationship with your clients. We are able to bring the studio to you so we disrupt your day as little as possible.

    From a very young age, Jennifer had a love for theater and the arts. She trained at Jan's School of Dance in Evansville, Indiana before moving on to the dance program at Ball State University. She attends adult classes at several studios in Chicago in her spare time. Starting her choreography career in Jr. High, by assisting the directors in creating movement for school shows, she continued to pursuit the creative side of dance. Jennifer has directed and choreographed productions throughout the Chicagoland area, and continues to teach private ballet lessons when she's not behind the camera.
